Treasures...

I have a little story to tell you. It's kind of like an adventure where at the end you find a hidden treasure. Because that's exactly what happened. And it was the coolest thing.

The story begins this morning. I've been missing the missionary friends more than usual. I've been wanting to call or text them funny things that happen to me or just laugh with them. WHATEVES. They are on missions in lands far far away and letters will be just fine.

Today was kind of a long day you could say, and so after feeling defeated with seven peanut M&M's in my stomach, I finally got home to a nice, warm meal.

Well there I was, sitting and looking at my old phone {we had some great times that little guy and I did} and right when I was about to close it {because you have to close it, because it's a flip phone...} I thought to myself, "Self, look at your old pictures and videos". Sure enough I did.

I found the following treasures and they warmed my heart so much. I hope you enjoy them and laugh with great fervor! I thought about posting these on the Facebook, however, I wouldn't want the world to see me struggle eating a hot pepper. YOU wouldn't want that either. :)

Thinking about thinking. For now.

Doesn't the title of this post make me sound like I think too much? Ha! Now, before you judge the crap out of me, let me explain myself. It sounds funny to say that you think about what you're thinking. {tongue twister?} Exhibit A: I saw a picture of a gnome just now and I thought "WHO in their right mind would put a gnome on their website??" Mind you I'm terrified of gnomes. Then I thought about what I just thought {are you following..?} and it went a little like this, "Why did I just judge their website by thinking that?" OK. So I've gone mental. But it makes some sense, no?

I have also been thinking a lot about my future. Seriously, I sit in class, walk to the bus stop, ride the bus, walk to class, lead the Hymn in institute etc. and my mind is just going and going and going.
Thinking.
What if I do this? Well, what if I like this better? I wonder what he's up to? What will I do for my portfolio? Should I stick with a Business Minor? Do I want a Masters? Yes! No! Yes! Maybe? I'm soooo excited for him to get back! Should I run for an ASUSU position next year? I wonder if I already know my future husband {every girl thinks about this ya know what I'm sayin'...}?  Mission? What will I do with my degree? Should I date him? Or him? Or him? Or him?? ahahaha juuust kiddin.

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!!

So there you have it folks, that's exactly what I've been thinking lately. Okay it's what has been consuming my mind ever since this year started. But it's almost summer, that's something to look forward to right? This morning as I was getting ready, I heard the sound of a sweet little bird outside my window. Do you wanna know what else? I started listening to Christmas music. Yes, Christmas music! Again, you might judge, but to that I say: TRY IT! There's something about Christmas music that makes me feel like everything is going to be alright. And I know that everything will work out, because I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and you so much that He'll take good care of us. But Christmas music was the cherry on top of a lovely Spring morning.

I'm kinda glad you're still reading this {bless your heart}. We should be friends if you endured that first paragraph...Well, I think that's all I have to say today. One more week of school and then finals. Where did my sophomore year go? Bring on the future. Or at least Summer, for now.

May you listen to Christmas music with much delight as I did! {Just don't make it an everyday habit. You might turn into a gnome. And I think they're scary little monsters. So that'd be awful.}

P.S. These two graduated from Brigham Young University this weekend. A big congrats to them! Pictures to come!
Most flattering picture ever? Heck no.

A photograph of yourself today and 3 good things that have happened in the past.

Oooh, yeah here's a picture with the new bangs.
1. General Conference was this weekend and the whole fam (minus G) was gathered at home. What a lovely feeling.
2. Cute guy.
3. I really love my Typography class, in which we have been busy with projects and designing like crazy. I. Love. It. And I love my major.

Day twenty-nine...

Something you could never get tired of doing.

Laughing. :).
