Look at these treasures I found! Can you tell who's got the attitude? Yep, Monica was quite the little sassy girl ;) I just thought I would share this with you all. Oh how I miss her. If you have a sister at home, please hug her, won't you?

A new gluten-free life.
Ever since I can remember I've had stomach problems. My stomach would hurt after almost every meal, and I wouldn't think anything of it. I'm not one to complain, so I didn't voice my pain either. But then these stomach aches started happening more and more. So I said: enough is enough. Somethin's wrong wit me. A few weeks ago I realized that these stomach problems happened every time I ate bread. Not dairy, not fruits, not vegetables, not meat but bread. If you know me, you know that I am a sucker for cookies, Mexican bread, basically any yummy dessert.
You guessed it, we found out that I'm gluten intolerant. Talk about my world flipping upside down. What am I supposed to eat now? Lettuce and celery sticks? No thanks... I was bummed when I found out and made the decision to stop eating any wheat product out there. However, I feel great. No stomach aches since! AND my world didn't end. Turns out there's a whole aisle in Wal Mart of gluten-free foods plus frozen gluten-free breads at Lees. Thank you Celiac Disease Foundation for great tips.
Well, that sums up the last three weeks. I'm now living a gluten-free life. Don't feel bad either, there's a good side to everything. I've lost about six pounds {no need for the gym, ha!}, I'm less tired, I realized I have great self-control, it opened up a whole new world which I'm loving learning about, and I just feel great all around.
P.s. I'm currently accepting gluten-free treats. :)
