Did I mention that it feels good to say "Facebook whaa?"
For reals.
I got rid of the Facebook about four weeks ago. I did it mainly so I could enjoy and spend time with my family over the holidays to the last possible second, and not miss out on anything while checking the thing.
Also, everytime I had the "urge" {don't deny it, you do too} to do a litte fb-ing {not a word peeps}, I would do something productive, like read my scriptures or clean. Deleting the Facebook comes with a ton of pros and cons. First, you are pretty much considered 'out of the loop'. Sad, I know. Like when someone goes on cool vacations or gets engaged/pregnant or relationship statuses change overnight and you don't find out till four months later?? Ya see my point? But then when you need to write papers, do homework, just be productive in general and the Facebook is your only buddy and distracts you. Now that's sad too.
I guess we all see the thing differently. Me, I think it's been wonderful not having it. Hard at first, but you get used to it. Who knows, maybe I'll get the thing back one day...
This is what's been going on though:
