Just another {friday}.

Seriously, why did I not join the bowling club in high school??
Sometimes you {I} really need those bowling skills that could help me win. Just once?
Thank goodness my team was nice and made me feel like I did great. Bless their hearts!

Naturally, the flash decided to not go off so we are a little blue. I'm sad I didn't take more pictures of bowling because we have some good bowling forms/victory dances. Not me though...I lost remember?
After bowling we got frozen yogurt at Twizl Berry, delicious!
We hit the Institute opening social and saw people riding the mechanical bull...classic.
The theme of the social was "Western" so every other song they played was a line dance. NOT our thing. Not MY thing. But it was fun non the less and we laughed and laughed. A lot!
The group split after the social and Sam and I finished off the night with our annual drive.
Five more miles and we would have been in Brigham City. For reals. I love those long drives.
You bet we stopped at Wendy's for some food.
Dang you drive-through....
Never a dull moment!

So grateful..

Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner.
After dinner, they shared a little message from the Book of Mormon.
As they bore their testimony, I couldn't help but think of my friends.
I miss them so much.
Tears filled my eyes as these two young Elders left with a loving smile.
How courageous are missionaries around the world, to leave their families and spread the Gospel away from home.
Tonight, I'm so grateful for their sacrifice.

A sign.

Here I was walking to class, when I stumbled upon this sign...
Not only is this sign about the same size as..ahem..yours truly, but
someone thought it'd be creative to tape a Red Bull and draw wings on this little man.
I don't know what they were going for, nor am I advertising Red Bull in any way...
but I'll be honest, I laughed this morning. This COLD morning.

E-mail, what a blessing!!
From Mexico to little ol' Logan I get to hear from amazing friends.
Like, him.

Oh hey 2011.

I'm telling ya, my sister is a better blogger.
Click here for a fab blog post about more Christmas/New Years festivities.
Did I mention that it feels good to say "Facebook whaa?"
For reals.
I got rid of the Facebook about four weeks ago. I did it mainly so I could enjoy and spend time with my family over the holidays to the last possible second, and not miss out on anything while checking the thing.
Also, everytime I had the "urge" {don't deny it, you do too} to do a litte fb-ing {not a word peeps}, I would do something productive, like read my scriptures or clean. Deleting the Facebook comes with a ton of pros and cons. First, you are pretty much considered 'out of the loop'. Sad, I know. Like when someone goes on cool vacations or gets engaged/pregnant or relationship statuses change overnight and you don't find out till four months later?? Ya see my point? But then when you need to write papers, do homework, just be productive in general and the Facebook is your only buddy and distracts you. Now that's sad too.
I guess we all see the thing differently. Me, I think it's been wonderful not having it. Hard at first, but you get used to it. Who knows, maybe I'll get the thing back one day...
This is what's been going on though:
Christmas dinner with the Shipps!

More bachelorette partying...! This one for Jess :)
It's a new year!
Don't cha wish your New Year's dinner was hot like ours! No you probably don't.

Life is so, so good.
