I found my new favorite thing:
A McDonalds chocolate shake. Soooo good right!?
While some of you may have discovered this delicious shake a LONG time ago, I'm new to it.
And I'm loving it.

Him and Her.

Tia and Matt got married! Their reception was in Pocatello, Idaho so naturally, this called for a roadtrip.
I remember when Tia first told me about Matt...love at first sight. I'm so happy for my cute married friends.
They are two peas in a pod! Seriously.
Congratulations Tia and Matt!!
First dance..

Oh, and Utah State beat Idaho. No big deal.
Go Aggies!

We're over it...

In the summer, I went to Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw.
Normally, you would think "How fun!!!" right? Let me tell you about that night.
After eating a fabulous dinner, we thought we were doing ok on time. We weren't. So obviously we sped to the Usana amphitheater.
And we stumbled upon HUNDREDS of people, who like us, were late. After minutes and minutes of waiting, lots of people-watching{awkward cowboy couples}, and stop and go traffic, we decided to walk. Yes that's right. 8 blocks of walking. Keep in mind, one of us was on crutches. Bless his heart.
After a century of walking, we got there and Lady Antebellum had already started. Our soul purpose of going, guys. We're over it..
Once we got inside the actual amphitheater, Lady Antebellum was on their last song.
We're over it, remember...
And the place was PACKED! So we settled for a seat at the top. Not just at the top, LITERALLY
at the top. Touching the fence, top.
We're still over it..

On the plus side!
We got to see lots of drunk people doing whatever drunk people do...!
We saw {from a far} Lady Antebellum and Tim.
We also saw some pretty peculiar outfits.
And best of all, it was a great reminder of how greatful we are for good standards and good friends.
What a night. We had fun. But. We're over it!

Yes. They are drunk.

The Work..

2010 was a much dreaded yet anticipated year for a few of us.
My best friends from middle school are ready to serve the Lord for TWO whole years. Almost all of them are serving somewhere Spanish speaking, which is very exciting for me because I'll be able to talk to them in Spanish when they get back.

Yay for being bilingual?

I can't imagine not having them in my life, and truly thanks to them, I have grown to be who I am today. I love them all and will miss them sooo much. But, I am also grateful for missionary work, and I know that they are where they're supposed to be.

i LOVE missionary work.

I love Grandma.

My grandma from my mom's side came to visit us a few weeks ago! It was such a blessing that she was able to leave her home for a few weeks and fly out here to good ol Logan! I love her. She is quite the woman. I gave her a tour of USU, and trust me, I was nervous. At least it wasn't a group of incoming students right? Here's how it went: FIRST tour+to my grandma+all my knowledge of Utah State came out {somehow}=A SUCCESS!!

Wow. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Let the fun begin with Aggie BLUE 2010! [that rhymed. I know. I know.]

I had the opportunity to be a facilitator for Aggie BLUE this year! After attending the leadership conference last year, I had to do it again this year, except I wanted to be a facilitator. So I applied to be one. And it was one of the best things I've done this semester, and it just started.. I co-facilitated with Jordan Hunt- HE is a big deal. You should probably get to know him. We instantly clicked. New best friend? Check!
Everything I learned from the conference last year was so encouraging. And it didn't hurt that I had THE coolest facilitators, Lyndi and Nate. I hope I was able to help/teach my BLUE crew as much as Lyndi and Nate taught me. I loved everyone in our group. Here are some pictures of the conference! Check out our sign that Jordan and I made during training. (I'll give him all the credit for coming up with a sweet name) Call us Da Vinci and Picasso...

Some of us girl facilitators rocking the green..

We had a good time.

Thank goodness for Labor Day...

Labor Day according to dear Wikipedia..
Labor Day - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "The form for the celebration of Labor Day was outlined in the first proposal of the holiday: A street parade to exhibit to the public 'the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations,' followed by a festival for the workers and their families. This became the pattern for Labor Day celebrations."

Did you get that? Nope. All I got out of it was this:
Family BBQ!
Did I mention that Monica and Garrett are back from New York? Well they are.
And it was {great} to see them again! I love them.
Notice all of the food...
We ate it all.
Isn't my sister a beauty?
We are huh?...I mean she is, she is..
